Breathwork for Mental Health, Sleep & Well-being

Breathwork for Mental Health, Sleep & Well-being

Join us for a clinically informed, experiential workshop exploring the role of therapeutic breathwork in mental health, respiratory conditions, and sleep. This 2-hour session is co-led by certified Buteyko breathing practitioner Jennifer Blunston and family physician Dr. Griselle Leon, combining medical education with guided breathwork practice.

Participants will learn how breathing patterns influence anxiety, depression, asthma, exercise tolerance, snoring, and sleep apnea. The workshop will also explore how proper nasal breathing supports nervous system regulation, optimizes physiology, improves posture, and contributes to whole-body balance.

The session will alternate between education and experiential practice, creating an engaging, accessible learning environment. Attendees will leave with practical techniques that can be safely integrated into daily life.

This workshop is suitable for individuals seeking evidence-based, non-pharmacologic tools to support both mental and physical well-being.
