Land Acknowledgment
At Bloom Institute for Mental Health & Wellness, we acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional territories of many Indigenous Peoples across Alberta, including the Treaty 6, 7, and 8 regions, and the Métis Nation of Alberta. These lands have long been home to the Cree, Blackfoot, Dene, Nakota Sioux, Saulteaux, and many other Nations who continue to steward this land with deep wisdom, resilience, and care.

We recognize that colonization, displacement, and systemic injustice have created intergenerational impacts on mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health. At Bloom, we hold space for this truth in our daily work. We are committed to supporting healing by providing trauma-informed, culturally safe, and accessible care that honors the diverse experiences of Indigenous peoples.

As we work to normalize mental health and make recovery-oriented care available to all, we do so with respect, humility, and a responsibility to listen, learn, and act in solidarity with Indigenous communities. May we bloom in spirit and health.
