Dr. Griselle Leon is a family physician and co-founder of Bloom Institute of Mental Health & Wellness. Her clinical interests include mental health, women’s health, hormone health, nutrition, and preventive medicine. She completed her medical degree and Family Medicine residency at the University of Calgary and began her career in comprehensive family practice before focusing more deeply on mental health and lifestyle-based approaches to care.
At Bloom, Dr. Leon provides medical and mental health assessments for individuals participating in the clinic’s ketamine-assisted therapy program. She also works with patients on integrative approaches to health, including lifestyle, nutrition, and hormonal factors that can influence mood, energy, and overall well-being. Her goal is to help patients better understand the many interconnected factors that shape mental and physical health while supporting them in building sustainable strategies for long-term wellness.
Dr. Leon has a particular interest in contributing to thoughtful, evidence-informed conversations around emerging mental health treatments and their responsible integration into clinical care.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys staying active through hiking, dance, gym workouts, cycling, skiing, and yoga. She also loves to travel, cook, paint, and unwind with a good show or movie.
