Dr. Caroline Trieman

MD, CCFP

Family Physician

Dr. Caroline Trieman completed both her medical degree and Family Medicine residency at the University of Ottawa. She has practised comprehensive family medicine in a variety of settings, including busy urban clinics in downtown Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, rural communities in Ontario, and as a physician within the McMaster University Family Medicine Clinical Teaching Unit, where she enjoyed teaching and mentoring Family Medicine residents.

After relocating to Calgary with her family, Dr. Trieman has chosen to focus her practice on areas she is particularly passionate about. She has a special interest in adult mental health, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, sleep disruption/ insomnia, and is increasingly interested in mid-life associated cognitive complaints (ie. “brain fog”). She has a particular interest in supporting women through life transitions, recognizing the important connection between hormonal health, mental health, sleep, and overall well-being. She believes in providing compassionate, evidence-based care and values building trusting, collaborative relationships with her patients. Her goal is to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Trieman enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and exploring nature, baking, travelling, catching up on a good book or enjoying an interesting podcast.
