PSYCHEDELIC THERAPY

Where healing goes deeper

Psychiatrist-guided, medically supervised psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Program Overview

Bloom offers both group and individual psychedelic-assisted therapy. Our group model is our primary offering — it delivers the same clinical framework as individual therapy at a more accessible price point, while adding the therapeutic benefit of shared experience. Research consistently shows that group therapy produces outcomes comparable to individual therapy for depression and anxiety, with the added benefits of peer connection, reduced isolation, and the healing that comes from shared experience.

All programs are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, nurses, and paramedics, medically supervised and guided at every stage by our consulting psychiatrist. Bloom is licensed by Alberta Health to provide psychedelic-assisted therapy services and follows CPSA clinical guidelines.

How Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Works

At Bloom Institute of Mental Health & Wellness we offer Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy (PAT) as a key component of our integrative approach to mental health care. This innovative, evidence-based treatment combines the controlled medical use of psychedelics with guided psychotherapy to provide relief for individuals facing treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other complex mental health conditions. Our PAT program is trauma-informed and anchored in clinical best practices, with a strong focus on client safety, readiness, and ongoing integration. Each individual undergoes a thorough assessment and receives continuous support throughout their therapeutic journey. It is important to note that currently, this treatment is only available to those who meet specific clinical guidelines.

Program Options

*All programs may be covered by your Extended Health Benefits.

Group Program — $4,995

  • Weeks 1–3: One 2-hour group session per week focused on preparatory work to help establish psychological safety ("set") and build the therapeutic alliance.
  • Weeks 4–7: Two group sessions per week. One involves a psychedelic dose (intramuscular), and the other a psycholytic dose (lower-dose intranasal with therapy).
  • Weeks 8–9: One 2-hour group session per week focused on integration, helping participants process insights and apply them to everyday life.

All sessions in this program are conducted in a group format. Group size: 4–6 participants. Medically supervised with psychiatrist oversight throughout.

Hybrid Program — $6,071

The hybrid program mirrors the group program in structure and content, but blends group and individual care. All sessions are conducted in a group setting, however psycholytic therapy sessions will be conducted individually.

This option allows for a degree of cost savings while still offering personalized attention during therapy.

This program offers a middle path — combining the benefits of shared psychedelic experience with individualized therapeutic support.

Psycholytic Program — $4,564

  • Weeks 1–2: One 2-hour group session per week focused on preparatory work to help establish psychological safety ("set") and build the therapeutic alliance.
  • Weeks 3–6: Two group sessions per week. One involves an individual psycholytic dose (lower-dose intranasal with therapy) and the other a group psycholytic dose.
  • Weeks 7–8: One 2-hour group session per week focused on integration, helping participants process insights and apply them to everyday life.

This program offers a combined group and individualized treatment structure with a low and slow method, balancing deep dives, therapeutic exploration and rest.

Ideal for those who prefer a private therapeutic setting or need maximum scheduling flexibility.
